Filtrete 3US-PS01 — equipment notes

Identification and comparison questions for Filtrete 3US-PS01; check the exact unit before buying equipment or parts.

Identify the equipment

Record the complete 3US-PS01 identifier and the specified replacement cartridge. Similar Filtrete labels can refer to different assemblies or claims.

These notes concern under-sink filtration. They are not a first-hand performance test or a current sales listing. No current price, availability or certification is asserted for this older reference.

Questions worth checking

Check connections, change clearance and the exact listed reduction claim. Do not assume that a cartridge fits because its housing looks similar.

Keep the relevant manual and exact replacement numbers with the installation record. Verify any certification against the actual model and listed claim, not a broad brand badge or an old review.

Compare the treatment task

Read the under sink water filters guide alongside the comparison checklist. Start with the measured water concern and account for installation and ongoing maintenance.

If a supply advisory or contamination concern exists, follow official advice. The presence of this equipment does not establish that the water is safe for every use.
