Aquios Water Softener and Filtration System Review
Best Home Water Filtration System

Clean, Fresh and Best of All Soft Water for the Whole House

At the beginning of my quest to find the perfect solution for clean, fresh and soft water in the home I thought I would never find the answer. As I’m sure you already know there is an abundance of information on the internet telling you all about water filtration systems, descalers and systems that will make your hard water soft.

Now, if you’re a seasoned “pro” when it comes to finding these products, you’ll forgive me if I seem a bit naïve but I thought that in order to achieve all of this, you would have to install a number of different products. Not so! That’s why you’re about to find out about the Aquios Full House Water Softener and Filter System.

First of all, this system doesn’t use salt as part of the water cleansing process. If that has put you off reading any further, think about this. Salt based systems actually strip the water that comes out of your faucet of minerals that can be good for you. Compounds like calcium and magnesium are highly prevalent in hard water, but you can still achieve that “soft” like feel without the need to take these away completely.

This is How It Works

Aquios has devised a natural technology which uses a polyphosphate additive named Siliphos. This additive prevents minerals that cause hard water from building up in your pipes and making their way on to surfaces that come into contact with water in your home.

Although it may take a bit of time once you have this unit installed, eventually all the deposits that cause a lime scale build up will simply pass through your system without leaving a trace.

This “kills two birds with one stone”. You still get the benefit of various minerals in your water that are good for you, but they won’t hang around long enough to reduce the life expectancy of your pipes, dishwashers, washing machines and many other appliances that use water. Plus, you don’t get that “slippery” feel that many people complain about with salt based water filtration.

This system has also been designed so it will remove any chlorine, sediment or other undesirable additives in your water. The end result is clean, fresh water that can be drunk straight from the tap and no lime scale build up. All the nasty odors and discoloration will also be a thing of the past.

Other Considerations

The manufacturer has thought long and hard about the results you get with this whole house water filter and you won’t find you need to do any maintenance. It doesn’t use electricity and requires no programming. The best plus of all is that it has been designed so you don’t lose any water pressure (one of the biggest complaints I come across).

All of this is backed with a 20 year warranty on both the housing and the valve. For me, this information alone was enough to sway me towards looking into this product further! Your first filter cartridge comes with the original product and has been developed to filter no less than 40,000 gallons of water which will easily last at least 6 months for the average sized household.

If you would like a little more information direct from the manufacturer, or you’re interested in finding out how much money you can save on the list price for this water filtration system, just take a look at Amazon. I’m betting you won’t be disappointed!
